1972 - He studies arts at the NAC (Center for Arts and Creativity), recently founded in Botafogo (RJ).
He attends classes taught by Pedro Dominguez and Hilo Krugle.
1973 - He begins to exhibit his artistic production.
First solo exhibition (Monotypes), at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Fortaleza.

1974 - Study and research with Anna Bella Geiger, in Rio de Janeiro. He comes into contact with artists such as Fernando Cocchiarale, Paulo Herkenhoff, Sonia Andrade, Ivens Machado (among others), pioneers of video art in Brazil.
Participates in 8th JAC – Young Contemporary Art (MAC-USP), the first public exhibition of Brazilian videos in Brazil, organized by Walter Zanini.

1930 - Born in Salvador (BA), on July 17, Letícia Tarquinio de Souza, daughter of Gonçalo Porto de Souza and Stela Tarquinio de Souza.
1950 - Starts in teaching.
1955 - Married in Rio de Janeiro to João José de Sá Parente, who became the father of her 5 children.
1956 - Teacher and director of the Ginásio de Sabinópolis, MG.
1957 - Their first son, André de Souza Parente, is born.
1959 - Moves to Fortaleza. Their daughter Angela de Souza Parente is born.
He teaches Chemistry in secondary education establishments.
